new piece in a few variations

i often have trouble choosing between little variations like these, and there's something i like about all of them. i'm tempted to just print this in a 3 different ways and let the public choose. feel free to weigh in and help me out if you want!

REBUILT

my first solo show debuted last night and was a great success! it was good to see so many familiar faces and well wishers. here's just a few of the new pieces i did for the show.

this blog needs to be updated more frequently! luckily i have a pretty big stockpile of art to post so there will be more new stuff soon.

another nerdy update

just a quick update this time. The Hellboy show at brave new worlds last friday was our first without Joe-big-pappa-Game and it went well! lots of great work and friendly faces. here's my piece for the show, and a few unrelated sketches.

Poe and Raoh, brothers separated by time/fiction

a sampling of some of my favorite Poes from the Art In the Age show up now at their flagship store, and a few that were a bit too silly to make it into the show. I wanted to do a bunch of slightly different versions so that every print is a bit different. Also, gives me a chance to play around with the same image for hours which is of course what i love to do.


lastly, a nerdy little Raoh illustration (of fist of the north star fame). this little guy was a lot of fun. i can only hope i did the fist proud!a very colorful post this time, huh?

animal maaadness!

this update is a bit late, i know. been trying to clear some of the work off my pate before attending to the blog. well to make up for it, i've come up with a kickass "theme" to this post: animals!
for starters here's a little taste of what i've been working on. the birds are from a brand new Awakening page i just finished. i'm pretty happy with those little guys.
